Responsibilities Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity
Create marketing and public relations strategies to build meaningful relationships with key external audiences
Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions
Recruit, manage, and mentor a communications team to execute the communications strategy
Oversee day-to-day communications activities, including budgeting, planning, and staff development
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and successfully position subject matter with the media
Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online communications media
Demonstrated leadership in managing comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Proven ability to measure the ROI of communications activities
Energetic and flexible team leader who positively impacts both strategic and tactical initiatives
