Key Responsibilities 1. Capture all the failure parts from the tech and record the failure mode record on the weekly review file to review in the meeting. 2. Take photos for all damaged items and let Oracle make decisions if they can be sent out to repair or not. 3. Only the items that have decision from Oracle can scrap. 3a - None storage items send to Sims to scrap 3b - HDD, SSD and memory needs to use the machine from Oracle to erase and destroy the items. 4. PC will release work orders for RMA to destroy the approved scrap storage items every week including scrap pack 5. Create Run Card from the SCFCS and scan to capture SN for HDD / SSD 6. Upload OEM test file to WD website waiting for the approval. 6a – If the results are fail, scrap the HDD 6b – If the results are passed send to PC, release a regular work order to support forecast demand. 6c - Remove bracket from the HDD / SDD before degausse or shred SSD 6d - Degausse (all HDD) or shred (all SSD) 7. Incoming OMP items 7a – Incoming inspection by IQC failed, take picture work with suppliers for the RMA #. If not suggest, go through buyer to escalate and will discuss in the weekly meeting. If the supplier still does not release RMA will escalate to Oracle in the meeting. 7b - Incoming OMP materials failed in testing. Tech will move the defective material to RMA together with the failure mode / log and reason. Then RMA clerk with record in the weekly RMA log and will request RMA # from the supplier. 8. All the RMA return materials must pack it in qualified and secure materials to avoid damage during the return shipping process. 9. All the MB must try to keep the original foam or box for shipment returns if they need new foam to cut the right shape for return. Because those MB can cost over US$1,000 dollars per piece. RMA will take photos before the box closes and take two photos at least from 2 angles after sealing the box before shipment. When RMA material is ready for shipment, transact RTV in Fusion 10. The last week of every quarter the RMA / MRB inventory must be totally clear to zero. 11. Help to support OEM test if the technician is busy. 12.Process RMA transaction in Fusion. Language requirements : Fluency in English is required. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish is preferred.
