Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Cath Lab operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and mentor clinical staff, supporting professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards.
• Manage performance evaluations and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee case scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Support and expand the hospital's STEMI program and other quality improvement initiatives.
• Champion patient education and wellness through effective communication strategies.
• Stay current on developments in cardiovascular care and best practices.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• Certifications in acute or critical care strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience in Cath Lab procedures and acute/emergency care.
• Proven leadership in a clinical or surgical services environment.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; comfortable working with diverse populations.
• Experience with health coaching or patient-centered education is a plus.
