All About On Demand
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary when you choose to pick up a shift.
You are asked to engage actively by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to contact attempts or do not work at least one shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. After an offer, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule. The myTime app is used to pick shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.Greet guests and assist with daily tasks to create a welcoming experience.Engage with guests to solve needs and provide knowledge about tools, products, and services.Assist with checkout, bagging, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company best practices.Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.Explain and demonstrate how to use wallet and Target App features; assist with orders (OPU, Drive Up) and registry.Handle returns per policies and escalate to leaders as needed to resolve guest concerns.De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policies.Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.Maintain a clean, safe work area and stock supplies as needed.Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and participate in safety training.Support cash office processes and other duties as needed according to business needs.Qualifications and Skills
Effective communication and a positive, guest-focused approach.Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.Willingness to educate guests about products, services, and promotions.Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.Work independently and as part of a team.Accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office as needed.Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally; ability to stand, walk, and move around the store.Benefits and Employment Details
