As a Program Control Manager, you will play a critical role by supporting the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of various types of programs. You will collaborate with the program team to create, maintain and status program schedules in MS Project. You will establish a cost baseline for programs and work with program team to develop, manage, and monitor a realistic Estimate At Complete. Your guidance and influence with the Program Manager will be key to achieving strong financial performance and positive customer experience. You will co-own the financial and scheduling performance with the Program Manager. You will leverage your knowledge of Earned Value Management to provide performance information to the program team. You will ensure full compliance with company processes and procedures across you and your teams programs. You will develop a foundational understanding of the technical side of the program to provide meaningful advice to the program team. You will present the financial, schedule, and performance information on your programs to leadership at the monthly program reviews. You will oversee the risk register and manage the project scope, schedule, and cost changes. You will work across our dynamic Program Control team, interface daily with Program Managers, finance personnel, functional groups and engineering staff in a team environment specifically designed to achieve program and professional success. / ph3The day-to-day / h3ulliMeet with the Program Manager to establish a schedule and cost baseline. / liliStatus the schedule and program performance monthly. / liliUpdate the Estimate at Complete monthly. / liliReview and approve procurement requests. / liliReview labor reports and provide guidance to the team. / liliCreate and update the Risk Register with the Program Manager. / liliImplement mitigation plans when necessary. / liliReview financials obligations. / li / ulh3What youll need / h3ulliBachelors Degree in business, finance, or technical field. / liliTypically requires 15+ years of experience. / liliProven track record of leading teams, problem solving, performance analysis, utilizing program management techniques and achieving the goals of the program and business area. / liliAdvanced knowledge of MS Project and scheduling experience in a high-tech engineering environment / liliMust be proficient in MS PowerPoint, Advanced Excel skills, and a mastery of Earned Value Management (EVM). / liliComprehensive knowledge of EVMS Guidelines, DoD EVMSIG, and IBR requirements. / liliUnderstanding and prior support of Cost Plus and Time Material programs. / liliExperience creating IPMR / IPMDAR reports for submission to customers. / liliExperience as a Program Control Analyst, Program Scheduler, or Program Finance Analyst. / liliExcellent teamwork and organizational skills. / liliExperience presenting financial and scheduling reports to leadership. / liliU.S. government position.
