Two years of college level course work in microcomputer hardware and software components microcomputeroperating systems and data communications software;or one year of college level course work in the same areasand two years of additional job training or experiencein related field. Under the direction of theassigned supervisorperformsetupmaintenance troubleshooting technical support andrepairon user-based systems on local area networks including some server support. Performdiagnostics onnetworked microcomputerhardware and specialized operating systemsincludingbut not limited to desktopplatforms mobile platforms and cloud-based basic technical support and help functions thatrelate to servers and networks.
