Description :

The unit consists of a procedural area for moderate sedation, stroke interventions, and interventional radiology.

There are typically 12 staff members, including a day shift manager, charge nurse, RNs, and IR radiology techs.

Patient ratios can run up to 3 rooms.

The team is responsible for a variety of procedures including neuro and body interventions.

Common procedures performed include neuro brain coiling, brain angiography, carotid angiography, pulmonary embolism treatment, peripheral angiography, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.

Candidates should be team players.

The dress code includes scrubs provided for the procedural area.

Call team coverage exists for weekdays and weekends.
