Weekly Salary Range : $1,630 - $1,750 per week (estimated)

Medical / Surgical RN Job Details

Location : Henrico, VA 23294 (Richmond area)

Unit : Medical Surgical (2E, Main Building)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026 – End : 4 / 6 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00 – 19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs

Floating : May float to Med Surg and Inpatient Rehab as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical / Surgical nursing setting

Proficient in clinical assessment and medication administration

Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and unit requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills

RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration and clinical assessments

Assist with procedures : NG tubes, feeding tubes, Foley catheters, surgical drains

Provide wound care and manage IV fluids and medications

Conduct surgical assessments and provide post-operative care

Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s EMR system
