Responsibilities
Manage the overall operations and staff of a vein and vascular services practice, ensuring high-quality patient care. Lead workflow functions for a clinical staff of physicians, nurses, medical assistants, sonographers and other clinical staff, empowering teammates to follow best practices and processes with independence and autonomy. Oversee financial and patient care management, safety and risk compliance, and practice equipment management. Lead interviewing and hiring, and facilitate an environment that promotes teammate development.
Provide leadership with direct oversight of the assigned clinic's daily operations.Create and foster a positive culture that aligns with UVVC Core Values.Participate in and lead clinic meetings and initiatives to drive culture, collaboration, accountability, and excellence, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.Address clinic concerns and celebrate successes; prioritize patient journey and patient satisfaction.Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop and implement patient journey improvements.Align center performance with key indicators and growth strategy.Identify problems and initiate improvement plans; monitor financial and operational reporting and implement performance improvements.Manage key operational metrics : volume, revenue, labor, productivity, and patient care expense.Hire, train, and retain quality talent; conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.Implement staffing plans ensuring adequate coverage and HR policy compliance.Provide coaching and mentorship; resolve conflicts and improve staff engagement and retention.Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff to maintain clinical competency and standards.Maintain a safe, healthy, and productive clinic environment; ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.Participate in QAPI, Risk Management, Emergency Management, and Safety activities.Monitor clinical performance metrics and conduct regular staff meetings to review processes and procedures.Train, assess, and coach staff; perform clinic audits and maintain facilities and equipment per regulatory requirements.Maintain inventory and supply in line with budget; manage payroll and HR functions in coordination with HR teams.Support marketing initiatives in collaboration with Physician Liaisons.Model UVVC core values : Understanding, Nurturing, Ingenuity, Trust, Excellence, and Diversity; uphold the Standards of Conduct.Protect PHI confidentiality and security in accordance with HIPAA and applicable laws.Additional related duties as assigned.This position will support both clinic locations at : Fort Collins and Longmont
Qualifications
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in related area strongly preferred.3+ years' direct management experience in a healthcare clinic or center.Experience managing ambulatory surgical services or multi-specialty clinics preferred.Proven leadership skills with coaching and performance managementExperience developing and managing a budget in a healthcare settingUnderstanding of key financial and operational drivers in healthcare practiceExperience with QAPI, Emergency Management, Patient Safety, Employee Safety and Risk Management in a clinical settingProficient with office software (ECW / EMR, MS Office, Teams)Strong organization and time management skills; effective team leadership and decision-makingExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth organizationDependable with reliable attendance and punctualityCompensation
Total compensation is based on experience and may include base salary, bonuses, and other incentive pay.
