Location : Norfolk

Schedule : 2 : 00pm -10 : 30pm Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays. Pay : $20 / hr

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control & Production Specialist to join our team. This critical role ensures that all manufactured products are complete, accurate, and defect-free, adhering strictly to quality standards and production schedules. Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QC) :

Perform thorough checks to ensure the product is complete, accurate, and defect-free.

Consistently check for inaccuracies, errors, imperfections in print quality, images, and data placement against provided project proofs.

Read and interpret work orders and use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gages, to verify product specifications.

Production & Administration :

Complete essential job paperwork by jobbing in and out of the company-provided MIS (Management Information System).

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by always keeping equipment and work area clean.

Be adaptable and flexible with production operations and schedules to meet deadlines.

Communication & Reporting :

Bring relevant issues affecting quality and service to the attention of management in a timely fashion.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, striving for the highest possible outcomes for customers and our organization.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong attention to detail is a must, with a proven ability to spot minute inaccuracies and errors.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting work orders and technical specifications.

Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.

Familiarity with production environments and Quality Control processes.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Basic computer skills for completing administrative paperwork (MIS entry).
