Account Manager

Do you thrive on building long-term relationships and keeping operations running smoothly? We're seeking a proactive Account Manager to join our team at B&M Machine Co., a family-owned precision machine shop with over 75 years of excellence. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, handling quoting, order entry, production updates, and delivery coordination while working closely with our machining and leadership teams. You'll help maintain strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure projects meet our high standards for quality, service, and timeliness in industries ranging from aerospace and medical to chemical and custom manufacturing.

Our competitive compensation, $45,000 - $75,000 depending on experience, plus commission (1% of sales non-brusso / GL 4000), and an extensive benefits package, further enhance our commitment to your success. Comprehensive health coverage : Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided

Solid phone, written, and in-person communication skills with strong attention to detail and organization

Proficiency with CRM and ERP platforms (preferably Pipedrive and JobBoss²) and technical skills in the M365 Suite

Experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and delivering timely follow-ups

Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer visits, trade shows, and vendor meetings

Your responsibilities as the Account Manager will include :

Act as the primary liaison between customers, vendors, and the shop, providing timely updates and resolving issues

Process new orders, acknowledgements, and web-based requests while monitoring production schedules for on-time delivery

Prepare and follow up on quotes in collaboration with the Operations Manager to support sales growth

Manage leads, customer records, and sales activities using Pipedrive CRM while nurturing new and existing business relationships

Deliver weekly reports summarizing quotes, released jobs, and customer interactions to track performance and opportunities
