Who we are

Axcess is a home care provider that services adults and children with special needs and disabilities across the state of South Carolina. We are contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs to provide care to adults and children who qualify for nursing and aide services.

What we do

Our goal is to provide compassionate nursing and aide care to adults and children while giving parents piece of mind during our visit. Each client is unique in the activities they need assistance with, but mayinclude : assistance with ADLs, meal prep, feeding, laundry, housekeeping, accompanying to medical appointments, and nursing care directed by a licensed physician.

What we are looking for

We are looking to hire an LPN who enjoys visiting with clients in their home while monitoring and assessing the adequacy of the services being delivered by Axcess. We are looking for someone who enjoys educating employees and being available to them should they have an issue. Our supervisory nurse position requires the nurse to complete in home client visits as directed by policy, client phone call follow ups regarding issues or staffing, processing all new employees and monitoring the care they provide with your clients. The nurse will also review the documentation submitted by the aides and nurses in the home. The nurse will coordinate monitoring hours provided by Axcess with the assigned client coordinator to establish a team approach.

Qualifications

To be qualified as a Supervisory RN you must :

• Have an active LPN license to practice in SC
• Have one year of clinical and pediatric experience
• Initial TB test covered by Axcess.
• Have current CPR certification; if expired Axcess can direct you to training sites
• Pass a background ( SLED ) check
• Pass a drug test
• Be physically able to provide services as defined by the job description
• Have a valid drivers license and insured reliable transportation
