Role Purpose
The Americas HSSEQ Lead will have accountability for developing and delivering integrated health, safety, environmental (HSE) and quality, risk, compliance (QRC) strategies across the Americas Work Dynamics. This role ensures compliance with JLL, client and statutory requirements while driving operational excellence through best-in-class risk management and quality assurance programs.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Global Head of HSSEQ with matrix reporting to the Americas Workplace Management Lead and Chief Operation Officer Americas Work Dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Integration
- Work with the Global HSSEQ Leadership Team to integrate the HSE and QRC management systems across the Region
- Drive technology and innovation-enabled efficiencies across both HSSE and QRC functions
- Establish effective relationships with Executive Leadership, operational teams, clients and contractors
- Monitor and report KPIs across business areas using analytical tools for continuous improvement
- Participate in client transition projects ensuring quality and risk management implementation
- Provide subject matter expertise for regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
HSE Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive HSE risk management strategies across the Americas operations, with a particular focus on the Workplace Management and Property Management sub-business linesEnsure application of JLL HSSE Management System and Standards throughout the regionLead the One Team S.A.F.E.R. Together culture change program and influence stakeholders at all levelsProvide guidance to Account and Business Unit HSSE Managers on risk management and control reportingAnalyze regional HSSE performance and provide regular reports to Americas Board and leadership teamsInvestigate accidents, collate reports, and implement prevention recommendationsSupport procurement in accrediting contractors for HSSE complianceQRC Leadership
Oversee and assure continual compliance to quality and risk standards for product and service deliveryImplement and optimize JLL Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all industries and clientsDevelop and manage internal operational audit programs for effective assessment of operations and subcontractorsCreate quality, compliance, and audit reports and dashboards for senior executivesSupport new business development with QRC expertise for RFPs and client transitionsThe Candidate
The candidate should have a technical mindset and proven leadership and management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers. S / he should be a strong and confident negotiator with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels, excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. The candidate should be results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets. An appreciation of and an ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures
Experience (Essential)
Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Safety, or related fieldCertifications : NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 qualification (or equivalent); Certified Quality Auditor (internal or lead)Experience : Minimum 10 years in Quality and HSSE LeadershipLeadership : Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed teams and implementing best practices across multi-country operationsSystems : Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified quality management systems implementationCommunication : Excellent written and oral English communication skillsTravel : Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as requiredExperience (Desirable)
Professional Membership : CMIOSH (Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) or national equivalentAdvanced Certifications : Six Sigma Green / Black Belt, Quality / Environmental / Security qualificationsIndustry Experience : Real estate services or regulated facilities experienceLanguages : Additional language capabilities for Americas regionAdvanced Degree : Master's degree or equivalent experienceSkills

Estimated compensation for this position : $200,000.00 $250,000.00 USD per year
