LOCATION : San Diego CA JOB STATUS : Full-time CLEARANCE : Must hold or be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance TRAVEL : 25% travel : CONUS and OCONUS. Embarked at sea overnight SALARY RANGE : Estimated $75,000 - $95,000 USD annually

Current U.S. Citizenship Required / liliCERTIFICATIONS : Current USCG MMC National Master Less Than 200 GRT, or higher. Must have at least 3 years of sea-going experience in a Master position. / liliProficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite. / liliPASSPORT : Must have a valid passport. / liliMust have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
• (MMC and Passport must have a minimum of 6 months of validity prior to placement, or proof of renewal in progress.) / li / ulh3Desired Qualifications / Skills / h3ulliExperience operating with Navy / Military units. / liliExperience with operating and maintaining hull, mechanical and electrical systems : Main propulsion diesel engines, marine diesel generators, fuel delivery systems, electric motors, pumps, 480 / 120 VAC and 24 / 12 VDC systems. / liliAbility to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. / liliExperience working with shipyard facilities. / liliExperience with HelmConnect vessel management software. / li / ulh3Responsibilities / h3ulliPilot 135 MD USVs in and out of port or at sea when operating in a manned configuration. / liliOperate, maintain and monitor HME systems while in port and at sea (onboard and remotely). / liliManage, maintain, and report vessel maintenance tasks records. / liliCoordinate work efforts alongside various government agencies and subcontractors, in port and abroad. / liliAssist with planning shipyard maintenance availabilities and overhauls. / liliDetermine parts, supplies, and material requirements for planned / unplanned maintenance and overall project support. / liliComply with all operational standard operating procedures, LOTO system, and Astrion / DoD safety policies, rules, and guidelines. / liliAssist with USV system development and payload integration. / liliBe an excellent people leader and communicator. / li / ul / div
