As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. Your role will involve routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining high visibility to support a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMSun12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the residential location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and / or rule violations within the residential community.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff while addressing inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required that meets both job state and Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
