• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed with 13-26 week contracts available
• Patient ratios of 1 : 6-7
• Floating required as needed with potential to float every shift
• Weekend requirement of 5-6 weekend shifts (every other weekend)
• 24-hour unit orientation required
• Navy scrubs required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications : NIH
• Telemetry and PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown experience required
• Must have interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring experience
• Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required
• Experience with accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care management, and PICC line management required
• Cardiac drip titration experience with Diltiazem and Amiodarone required
• Must be assigned to Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team for catastrophic events
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Self-scheduling per unit needs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
