We are looking for an Engineering Manager in Fairburn who can support and drive engineering solutions for our Supply Chain Operations. This is a fully onsite role based in Fairburn.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Facilitate the application of lean principles and tools, including standardized work, 5S visual factory, total productive maintenance, pull systems, value stream mapping, etc.
• Manage engineering functions for assigned areas, projects, and improvement activities, including processes, equipment, work standards, and facilities. Supervise and be responsible for engineering resources.
• Participate in interviews and evaluation of new engineering recruits, and support ongoing training of plant and corporate resources.
• Assist with development and enhancement of standardized engineering tools and methods. Participate in budget, manpower, and strategic planning.
• Implement work standards through time studies and other methods.
• Make decisions on the purchase or lease of capital equipment such as forklifts, tooling, generators, etc.
• Recommend and implement error-proofing methods and technology.
• Obtain quotes, perform cost analysis, and manage contractors for installations and construction.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities, manage project equipment budget, and report status to Project Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
