Job descriptionBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in high-speed cables, connectors, or medical device manufacturing. Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers (VNAs), oscilloscopes, TDRs, LCR meters, and other advanced electrical test equipment Experience in managing and maintaining electrical test laboratory equipment is a plus. Experience with medical device documentation requirements. Experience in testing high speed USB and HDMI products is a plus
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop, define, and execute electrical test plans for medical cable assemblies, connectors, and specialty cables.
- Conduct signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), impedance, capacitance, resistance, crosstalk, insertion loss, return loss, and high voltage hipot testing to validate product performance.
- Perform DC and AC testing on cable assemblies and connectors to ensure compliance with medical, IEEE, IEC, and industry-specific electrical standards.
- Evaluate EMI shielding effectiveness, dielectric breakdown, contact resistance, and insertion / extraction force testing.
