Description :

This role requires functioning within a unit providing high-quality and compassionate health care services.

The facility is committed to the development of a cost-efficient and quality-driven health care delivery system.

The unit has a total of 36 beds with a patient ratio of 1 : 6.

Staffing includes unit secretaries and patient care technicians available based on census.

Equipment utilized includes telemetry for patient monitoring, vital sign machines, glucometers, and mobile communication devices.

The documentation system in use is Meditech.

Scheduling involves 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends and holiday requirements.

Floating to other units is a standard practice when necessary.

Patient experience is prioritized through hourly rounds, bedside shift reports, and care boards.

The unit has received recognition for excellence in employee engagement and quality measures.

Staff may include nationally certified nurses with extensive experience.

Advanced technology and self-scheduling options within guidelines enhance the work environment.
