Responsibilities

You will collaborate with designers, data scientists, product managers, and engineers to create innovative solutions for Atlassian, driving our Enterprise transformation. You will be responsible for identifying, defining, prioritizing and delivering on the critical research needs, delivering measurable impact to the business. Success requires a background in mixed methods research, strong communication, storytelling and leadership skills to drive product vision and inspire innovation.

What Youll Do

• Set and Execute Research Strategy : Identify the critical Enterprise & Platform research priorities, establishing a practice that balances speed and quality of research execution.
• Lead and Develop Teams : Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing, globally distributed team, fostering excellence and an inclusive culture.
• Drive Impact and Partnerships : Identify and prioritize high-impact research opportunities, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and deliver insights that guide company decisions.
• Scale and Innovate : Extend research influence across the business, champion best-in-class standards and innovative methodologies (including AI), and represent Atlassian externally as a thought leader.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidates skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.
