Laboratory Technician

Mancan is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician. In this role, you will perform quality assurance lab activities including testing raw, in-process, and finished materials; generating and revising lab procedures; calibrating equipment and reagents; documenting lab data; and conducting lab trials for new materials. You will also support quality, health/safety & environment (HSE), and logistics functions as needed.

Pay: Starts at $19/hour

Qualifications:
- Minimum: 2-year Associate Degree in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and external partners
- Works independently and with teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain lab supplies and handle incoming calls.
- Test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document all test results accurately and in the required format.
- Perform and record equipment and reagent calibrations; resolve issues as needed.
- Create or update lab procedures as required.
- Prepare, test, and document lab trials for new materials or projects.
- Assist the Quality Manager with audits, documentation, and other quality-system tasks.
- Support Logistics with data entry and related reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
