Surrounding team & key projects : - Help support Construction procurement / contract related activities within Data Centre.
Typical task breakdown and rhythm - 60% focused on procurement activities related to RFQ & RFP process and the procurement management responsibilities 20% meetings with internal stakeholders & 20% reporting & analysis.

- OFCI or Long Lead Equipment - 4+ years
Years of experience required : 10+ years of experience in Construction Contracts or Procurement, change orders, RFP, and project management.
Degrees or certifications required : Preferred - BS Engineering / Science / Management.
Disqualifiers : someone who hasn’t worked with contracts.
Best vs. average : Construction / Supply Chain / Procurement experience.
Responsibilities :
With PM assistance, prepare Contract Strategy DocumentsReview and assist with preparation of Single Source JustificationsReview and assist with preparation of Scope of Work documentsCoordinate project-specific insurance requirementsEstablish Negotiation Plans and conduct or participate in negotiationsManage the RFP process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetingsProcess change orders, RFIs and submittalsAssist with, and when appropriate, implement new contract process controlsCommunicate with the home office on a regular basis regarding Procurement mattersProduce and compile accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders and clientsDevelop an advanced understanding of construction and related contract agreementsConduct price analysis, modeling, purchase-price cost analysis and identify competitive benchmarks
