Laundry Attendant Helper

Laundry Attendant Helper will support daily laundry operations on a mine site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, uniforms, and personal clothing while maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and load laundry (linens, towels, uniforms, clothing) for washing according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Operate washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment
• Inspect items for stains or damage before and after cleaning; treat stains as needed
• Fold, iron, or press cleaned items, and store or deliver them to the appropriate departments or areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including wiping down machines and disposing of lint and debris.
• Keep an inventory of linens, laundry chemicals, and supplies; report low stock or equipment malfunction
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards in handling and processing laundry
• Label and track personal laundry items
• Assist in maintaining laundry logs or records, as required.

Qualifications / Skills and Experience

Working Conditions

Position based at the OKO Project site. Work Schedule 14 days on / 7 days off. Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.

Compensation Package

1-year contract for the construction period, with the possibility of a permanent position once the mine is in operation. Competitive salary competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances.
