About The Position

Job Title : Travel RN – Med / Surg

Location : Atlanta, GA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights | 3x12s | 36 hours / week

Candidate Restrictions : No local candidates within 50 miles

Blended hourly pay : $48 / hr

Shift Timings : 36 Hours Days (hours per week)

Weekly Stipend : $1,000 ($27.77 per hour)

Weekly Taxable : $728 ($20.22 per hour)

Weekly Gross : $1,728

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and post-surgical patients on the Med / Surg unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
• Administer medications, monitor IVs, and manage pain control protocols.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative care, including wound care, dressing changes, and surgical drain management.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Certifications : BLS (AHA) required
