About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Asset Management and Compliance to oversee the strategic and operational aspects of its portfolio of affordable homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality portfolio of assets, executing strategic goals related to portfolio benchmarks, acquisitions, and dispositions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory programs. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including property management, accounting, legal, insurance, and development, and requires extensive external contact with consultants, regulatory agencies, lenders, and investors. The VP will also be tasked with providing day-to-day leadership, creating and maintaining comprehensive asset management plans, and spearheading the development and implementation of growth strategies. Applicants for the Vice President of Asset Management and Compliance position at the company should have a minimum of seven years' experience in a leadership role that includes asset management, property management, or affordable housing development, with a focus on LIHTC. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial planning and analysis, be skilled in organizational development, personnel management, and strategic planning, and possess excellent people skills. The role demands a flexible individual who can multitask, work in a fast-moving environment, and is adept at driving toward clarity and solutions.
