Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for an AR Specialist responsible for collecting outstanding receivables and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Collect outstanding receivables from insurance companies, patients, and physicians

Maximize collections efforts and follow through on rejected or denied claims

Maintain daily billing queues and perform financial transactions related to accounts receivable

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of billing experience required

Experience in mental / behavioral health and at-risk payers is a plus

Knowledge of insurance billing guidelines and medical terminology

Proficiency in computer systems and data entry applications, including MS Office
