Location : Orange, CA

Pay Information : $2,200 to $2,400 per week

About the Position

Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join a high-acuity cardiac team for a 13-week travel assignment. The technologist will support a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and must be comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities : Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including left / right heart caths, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy Assist with electrophysiology studies : cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac mapping Support vascular procedures including carotid stenting and endovascular interventions Set up and operate cath lab equipment; maintain a sterile field throughout procedures Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias Apply infection control measures and adhere to sterile technique Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure safe, efficient care Document procedures accurately using the facility's charting system

Requirements

Required Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program (preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience (required) Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted Valid professional license (must be in hand at submission) BLS and ACLS certifications required Key Skills : Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures Electrophysiology : ablations, pacemaker insertions, cardiac mapping Vascular procedures : carotid stenting, endovascular interventions Familiarity with vascular closure systems (e.g., Perclose, StarClose) IABP placement / removal, laser-assisted procedures Dysrhythmia interpretation Infection prevention and sterile field management Scrubbing and circulating in the Cath Lab
