Youth Specialist Positions - Full Time & Part Time

As a Cargo Specialist, you'll be the cargo handling expert for everything the Army moves by land, sea, or air. You’ll ensure the Army receives supplies, weapons, the mail, and equipment on a daily basis all over the world. You will be trained in cargo documentation, securing cargo, and learn how to load and unload cargo manually or by operating material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts. Requirements A U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card Age : 17-34 years High School Diploma or GED Must meet tattoo guidelines No major law violations No significant medical concerns Training & Certifications 43 Nationally recognized certifications available 10 weeks of Basic Training 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training 88 ASVAB Score : General Maintenance (GM) Skills You'll Learn Vehicle Operations Stocking & Storage Cargo Documentation More To Consider The Army Civilian Acquired Skills Program (ACASP) can reduce the length of your initial training and streamline your assignment process so you can start your Army career sooner.
