About the Role :

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with a CDL to join our team at Leachman Lumber Co. As an independent lumberyard located in Des Moines, IA, we take pride in providing top-notch service to our customers, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to help us continue that tradition.

Responsibilities :

• Transport lumber and building materials to and from job sites
• Operate and maintain delivery truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and at job sites
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies

Requirements :

• Valid CDL with clean driving record
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the lumber or construction industry
• Ability to lift heavy materials and operate equipment as needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
