Job descriptionAt least 21 years of age. Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications. Pay Rate : Drivers make up to $75,000. Sign-on bonus : Up to $10,000, depending on experience. Day 1 Benefits : medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA / HSA and company-paid life insurance. Paid holidays : earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one. 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days. Truck Driver Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled truck driver to join our team. As a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
- Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
