We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Community Property Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure resident satisfaction, and maintain financial and operational goals at our property / community.
Position Summary
The Community Property Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the property, including leasing, collections, resident relations, maintenance oversight, budgeting, and staff leadership. This role requires a balance of operational expertise, financial acumen, and customer service skills to ensure the community runs smoothly and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Monitor occupancy, rental income, delinquency, and expenses.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
Financial Management
Develop and manage property budgets.Monitor rent collections, follow up on delinquencies, and enforce lease agreements.Approve invoices, purchase orders, and control operational expenses.Leasing & Marketing
Supervise leasing efforts to maximize occupancy and rental rates.Ensure property tours, leasing documents, and move-in / move-out processes are handled professionally.Collaborate with marketing to implement outreach and resident retention strategies.Maintenance Oversight
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely work orders and preventive maintenance.Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality and safety standards.Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff (leasing agents, housekeepers, maintenance teams, etc.).Provide performance feedback and coaching to support team growth.Foster a positive, service-oriented work environment.Resident Relations
Build strong relationships with residents, addressing concerns quickly and professionally.Plan and support community events to encourage resident engagement.Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager (multi-family)Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of property management software (Onesite).Budgeting, financial reporting, and collections experience.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Compensation & Benefits
