Product Manager - FisherPak Solvent Delivery Program
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a strategic and data-driven Product Manager to lead our FisherPak Solvent Delivery Program in North America. This is an outstanding chance to steer our balanced packaging solutions for bulk chemicals and reagents, improving customer value and reducing environmental impact.
Program Ownership & Strategy
- Take charge of refining the FisherPak Solvent Delivery Program strategy to meet regional business demands, operational capabilities, and global sustainability targets.
- Serve as the regional FisherPak leader, driving program execution by representing customer interests and coordinating between cross-functional partners.
- Ensure customer forecasts are tracked against contract obligations and communicate demand to support site supply and capacity planning.
Product Lifecycle & Innovation
Lead cross-functional teams through the development, testing, and commercialization of new FisherPak program formats or technologies.Perform competitive benchmarking and stay up-to-date on sustainability packaging trends, return logistics, and regulatory shifts in North America.Lead the FisherPak Fleet Management team in proactive management of program contracts, including program launch and termination.Team Management & Collaborating with Others
Support the North America Fleet Management team in achieving excellence by providing mentorship and removing barriers to execution.Collaborate with North American marketing and commercial teams to address customer difficulties and explore options for incorporating FisherPak offerings into regional sales strategies.Ensure alignment with supply chain and operations by providing inputs on business priorities, logistical feasibility, and finding opportunities for process improvement.Client Relationship Management
Support quarterly business reviews, executive presentations, and customer-facing collateral.Capture voice-of-customer insights to develop differentiated solutions and deliver value to customers.Facilitate customer engagements with site Subject Matter Experts as appropriate.Metrics & Reporting
Establish, monitor and share program benchmarks, including return rates, usage trends, cost / benefit performance, and environmental impact.Apply data to identify and raise critical issues that may impact performance or customer experience.Keys to Success : Education
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or business-related field required.MBA preferredExperience
2+ years of proven experience in product management, particularly in sustainability or packaging solutions.2+ years of employee management experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required to effectively lead a large team and establish relationships with employees and colleaguesExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills.Capability to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentComprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).Prior experience in supply chain, returnable asset management, or logistics within the chemicals, life sciences, or manufacturing industriesCome be a part of our team in New Jersey and contribute with your skills and drive!
