As we expand, we need a People & Talent Manager (HR) to support both our talent acquisition efforts and our people operations.
This hybrid role combines talent acquisition support with people operations, making it perfect for someone who wants broad exposure to human resources in an agile and fast-growing startup environment.
You'll work with Executive Leadership and Managers across the organization to ensure we attract great talent while creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities The ideal person for this position has proven expertise in both Recruiting and Human Resources.
This includes talent acquisition, employee onboarding, compensation & benefits administration, reporting, and employee relations. Talent Acquisition (40%) Coordinate the full interview process from initial screening to final interviews Schedule interview logistics across multiple stakeholders Manage candidate communications and ensure exceptional candidate experience Maintain organized candidate pipelines and update applicant tracking system Assist with job posting distribution across multiple platforms Work hand-in-hand with external recruiters on specific sales and technical roles Source potential candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and networking channels Review resumes and screen applications against role requirements, conducting initial phone calls to assess qualifications Research opportunities to grow the candidate pipeline and support the planning and implementation of recruiting events and partnerships Employee Onboarding & Relations (40%) Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, including orientation, equipment setup, and first-day logistics Support company culture initiatives and team-building activities, as well as employee recognition programs and milestone celebrations Support annual and quarterly performance review cadence Assist with organizing all-hands meetings, company events, and other gatherings Support employee feedback collection and survey administration Manage all details and coordination of disciplinary discussions, terminations, and investigations.
Guide the leadership team on sensitive or complex matters and elevate to the appropriate staff when investigations are required.
Ensure professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the role. Compensation & Benefits (20%) Assist employees with benefit programs and leave requests.
Work closely with the People & Culture teams and benefits brokers on the annual Open Enrollment period.
Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, plus 3-5 years of experience in HR and recruiting, or similar roles, with knowledge of people management, and recruiting best practices / sourcing techniques Located with deep roots in the Seattle / Bellevue / Kirkland community Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with applicant tracking systems (ideally JazzHR or Gusto); proficiency with Gusto, LinkedIn, Teams, and other business / HR / recruiting software Desire to be in the office at least 3 days per week to drive people and culture initiatives Detail-oriented with strong follow-through capabilities Customer service mindset focused on employee and candidate experience Previous experience in startup or fast-paced environments Compensation :
