    Responsibilities

    The Patient Care Tech works alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member including doctors and nurses.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years' patient care experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).

    • Preferred Job Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Hospital experience.

    • Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
