What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for :
Designing solutions or improvements to address current and ongoing issues with underground construction equipment and / or processes
Supporting safety projects and manufacturing processes as directed
Maintaining plant layout for machine moves and cost reduction efforts
Evaluating manufacturing and material handling processes for new parts
Supporting new part quoting activities & SAP routings
Conducting time studies of parts processes
Assisting quality engineering with print tolerances & process capability studies
Assisting in the research & development of capital projects & equipment
Supporting Quality, Maintenance and Lean operations problem solving activities
Frequently reporting verbally and in writing on project status
Other duties as assigned
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements :
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline preferred from an ABET-accredited institution.
Software : AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Creo Parametric, Microsoft Office Suite
Strong mechanical aptitude. Desire to learn new skills and maintain knowledge of new technologies
Must be independent, self-motivated. Must have interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams
