Senior Staff Accountant

Position Purpose : The senior staff accountant will assist the finance / accounting department with all aspects of the monthly close

Duties and Responsibilities :

Month end close activities

Prepare & post journal entries

Monthly account reconciliations

Expense account analytics

Maintain fixed assets posting, records and reporting

Meet month end deadlines

Management reporting

Special projects as assigned

Qualifications :

5-7 years related experience

Previous experience with general ledger monthly or quarterly close a requirement

Public / Private background desirable but not a requirement

Experience with SAP preferred

Strong written and oral communication skills

Must be proficient in Excel

Education : Bachelors Degree in Accounting

Salary range : $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per annum
