Design & Operations Manager

Savannah Window Fashions is seeking a driven, customer-centric Operations Manager to lead our project management, workroom and window treatment design operations. Our ideal candidate will have past experience in a fast-paced, autonomous environment requiring rigorous attention to detail.

The right individual is systematic, organized, delivers quick and accurate results, thinks on her / his feet, is versed in dealing with competing priorities, and is technologically savvy.

Savannah Window Fashions is a full-service custom window treatment design firm serving Georgia and South Carolina. We offer interior designers and retail clients bespoke window treatments and soft goods, with a focus on project management and luxury products.

Summary of Responsibilities :

• Serve as first point of contact for new and existing clients.
• Schedule discovery calls, manage flow of fabrication projects, and schedule installations.
• Manage client projects with multiple steps and tasks.
• Provide weekly / bi-weekly client updates.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, timelines and deliveries.
• Interface with team members to create production and installation schedules.
• Process new order component arrivals and track in project management system.
• Prepare, manage and maintain client assets (physical and digital).
• Process client payments, pay bills and manage business expenses.
• Deal with problems, know when to escalate to owner.
• Assist with project quoting.
• Open and close shop each day, answer phones and receive packages and shipments.
• Order products and materials : fabric, trim, blinds, shades, drapery hardware.
• Create fabrication work orders for production of custom window treatments.
• Check in and inspect all products, stage and prepare for installations.
