About The Position

Job Title : Electrophysiology Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Electrophysiology Tech Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 10 hours (06 : 30 - 17 : 00) Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : State License required prior to start Certifications : BLS, ARRT, RCIS / CCI Must-Have : - Cardiac Ablation - Cardiac Mapping - Cardioversion - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab expertise - Insertion / Programming of AICDs - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions - Pacemaker Insertion - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Room circulator - Scrub to maintain sterile field - Sterile Technique - Tilt Table Study Description : The position is for an Electrophysiology Technician in the EP Lab. The shift consists of four 10-hour days. The hours for the shift are from 06 : 30 to 17 : 00. Late stay may be required on occasion until 18 : 00 or 19 : 00. No weekends or call requirements are necessary for this role. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. First-time candidates are accepted for this position. The environment involves working with patients primarily in cardiac settings. Familiarity with current Medtronic and Boston Scientific PFA mapping systems is preferred. Experience in scrubbing and monitoring EP ablation procedures is highly beneficial. Preference will be given to candidates willing to teach and share knowledge. The daily patient census is expected to be around 6. The unit consists of 2 procedure rooms. Electrophysiology technicians will engage with adult patient populations. This role does not require coverage on weekends or holidays. Candidates should possess excellent skills in maintaining a sterile technique and supporting procedural environments.
