Job Profile Summary
Under limited supervision The Coordinator for Non-Credit Programs & Training supports the design, delivery, and growth of non-credit educational offerings that connect the college with community and industry partners. This role oversees workforce development, professional certification, and personal enrichment programs, ensuring courses are relevant, high-quality, and aligned with labor market demand and revenue goals.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Education or a related field.
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Minimum Experience/Training:
Four years of adult learning environment or business environment related experience.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and student information systems, a plus.
Essential Functions:
Coordinates the implementation of non-credit courses, certificate programs, and workforce training aligned with industry needs.
Researches labor market trends and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and address skill gaps.
Leads onboarding to support adjunct instructors and industry professionals.
Manages course scheduling, facilities, virtual platforms, and instructional materials.
Partners with marketing to promote programs through digital campaigns, events, and community outreach.
Monitors program budgets, enrollment, and pricing to support financial sustainability.
Provides student support, including program guidance, registration assistance, and issue resolution.
Ensures compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Tracks and reports program performance, including enrollment, outcomes, and effectiveness.
Evaluates training programs and implements continuous improvements to enhance quality and impact.
Performs related duties/projects as assigned

Fully proficient in professional functional standards and protocols of position
General understanding of College’s structure, policies and practices, and the impact on own area
Ability to contribute in multiple related areas within the function
Knowledgeable in department project plans, including the coordination of multiple resources and activities
Understand and ability to coordinate interdependencies of work duties
Ability to share knowledge and collaborate and colleagues within the College as well as external stakeholders
Excellent presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of computerized systems and operating environments i.e. Microsoft Office Products and specialized computer systems
