We're entering an exciting new chapter as a company and are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team.
We're looking for a confident, ambitious, and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. If you love making calls, starting conversations, and booking meetings with mid-to-enterprise-level businesses, this is the role for you. You'll be the first point of contact in our sales process - responsible for identifying ideal prospects, reaching out via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and booking discovery meetings. Your mission is to fuel our pipeline and help us win more of the right deals, faster.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting : Make high volumes of cold calls, send targeted emails, and use LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities.
- Meeting Booking : Schedule qualified discovery calls and demos for Account Executives. Ensure a seamless handoff.
- Lead Qualification : Qualify prospects based on need, budget, authority, timing, and fit. Know when to move them forward and when to move on.
- Pipeline Development : Build and maintain a steady stream of qualified leads to hit weekly and monthly meeting targets.
- CRM Hygiene : Accurately log calls, email activity, and lead notes in the CRM. Keep records clean, consistent, and up to date.
- Collaboration : Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to book quality and targeted meetings.
- Learning & Adaptation : Stay sharp on our product, our value proposition, and our ideal customer profile. Iterate and improve constantly.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous Experience : Proven experience as an BDR or in a similar role within the SaaS industry is highly desirable.Sales Acumen : A genuine interest in sales and a strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and prospecting techniques.Research Skills : Proficient in conducting market research, lead research, and competitor analysis.Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.Organisation : Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using various software tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms.Adaptability : Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
