Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year in Warrensburg, MO. This contract role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and support for students with special needs, ensuring they achieve their academic and developmental goals in an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for students with diverse learning challenges
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with special education best practices
