Opportunity
As the HR Generalist, you will support operational Human Resources activities and be a first point of contact to employees and business leaders on general HR inquiries and projects, including but not limited to employee requests / inquiries, assistance with policy enforcement, moving and international work requests, leave requests, and other HR projects.
The HR Generalist acts as a great resource and champion for the HR team and business, assists in monitoring the effect of business decisions on people, and translating business needs to the HR team.
Key Responsibilities
The bulk of your work will be with our employees to help solve any questions or inquiries they may have related to their employment with the company. Additional responsibilities include :
- Leave administration related to family medical leave, sabbatical, unpaid leave, and other leaves offered by the Company
- Maintenance of electronic employee files
- Assistance with exit interviews and administration of the termination process
- Assist with new employee onboarding and other trainings offered by the Company
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and informed workplace
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR and Company policies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
- Support the HR and People and Culture team in delivering key initiatives
- Assist legal team with immigration needs
- Ad hoc projects as necessary
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experienceMinimum 1 year in an HR Administrator roleBachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalentFamiliarity and comfort using technical products such as HR software, MS Office, TeamsBasic knowledge and understanding of compliance standards and basic employment lawOutstanding written and verbal communication with communicative approach to relationship buildingStrong ethics and ability to balance compassion with guidanceStrong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at onceStrong analytical skillsOutstanding listening skills – able to understand and anticipate needs of othersProven ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate and influence across multiple levels, functions and geographiesWork Perks! - What’s in it for you :
