Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with HCBS Supervisor and Programmer to develop goals for the individual served.
• Provide services based on the individual's unique goals and behavioral care plan.
• Teach individuals how to accomplish their goals rather than completing tasks for them.
• Use behavioral strategies to support individuals and address behaviors that hinder success.
• Motivate and encourage individuals to participate in their behavioral care plans.
• Participate in recreational, community, and social activities with those you serve.
• Understand when to apply rights-restrictions as determined by the interdisciplinary team and indicated in the individual's behavioral care plan.
• Document the individual's progress accurately and consistently.
• Provide safe environments and instruction to help individuals reach their goals.
• Be an advocate for individuals receiving services, ensuring they have control over their lives and are treated with respect.
