Adelphi is seeking a needs a Doctoral Psychologist to conduct neuropsychological assessments, evaluations for medical decision making capacity, and consultation with mental health leadership for adult offenders in a correctional facility in North Carolina.

Requirements:

• NC license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Experience in correctional or high-security behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive and personality testing.
• Diagnose mental health disorders using established tools and methodologies.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Consult with facility staff and external providers on treatment plans.
• Document all clinical encounters in HERO (EMR system).
• Interpret assessment results and provide treatment recommendations.
