Visit www.launchdsf.com Job Overview The Digital Storefront (DSF) Business Development Director role is focused on selling to new DSF clients and driving profitable revenue growth based on the target market and pricing set by the DSF Executive and Product Team.
This role may also include securing DSF referral or reseller partners (e.g., digital banking, LOS, CRM, account opening, and agent AI providers). Responsibilities Refine the DSF targeting model based on input from Executive and Product team.
Learn about DSF, its capabilities, its competitive advantages, its integrations, and its architecture.
Build and actively manage the sales pipeline in the CRM platform.
Place sales activity notes into the CRM and ensure sales reporting and dashboards are in place and kept up to date on a weekly basis.
Deeply understand and regularly track the community FI, DSF competitors, as well as the broader banking, lending, and fintech trends.
Research prospects before meetings, adapt questions to learn more about client needs, effectively present and demo DSF, answer questions, effectively address objections, differentiate DSF, and quickly and accurately follow up with prospective clients and partners within 48 hours of the meeting.
Understand financial institution performance by analyzing NCUA and FDIC data.
Regularly provide feedback to internal teams, including marketing (how to optimize leads), product (competitive information), implementation and support (how to simplify).
Build, proof, and deliver accurate, compelling, and professional proposals.
Build ROI models and perform a net yield analysis (DSF has the .xls models) Manage complex negotiations at the executive level and bring opportunities to signature in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Client Services to accurately scope and document work to be performed for clientele, ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation / project team and a superior level of client satisfaction Attend prospect meetings virtually and in person as needed.
Represent DSF at conferences (including booths) when needed. Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in fintech or services sales in the financial services industry Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to communicate and sell key concepts to multiple levels of internal and client leadership (i.e., C-Suite, lending, marketing, data, digital). Ability to develop long term close working relationships based on trust and respect.
Excellent demo skills to highlight the consumer experience and the financial institution experience using the DSF platform.
Strong negotiation, decision making, problem solving and communication skills General knowledge of financial and / or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices.
Ability to work as part of integrated teams.
Ability to follow-up with and manage the details at multiple levels across multiple tasks.
Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally / externally), employees, clients and public.
Microsoft, Slack, HubSpot, PowerBI expertise coupled with AI familiarity.
