Consulting Manager

Consulting Managers are responsible for overseeing day-to-day project execution while mentoring junior team members and maintaining trusted client relationships. You'll bring structure and leadership to complex workstreams, deliver client-ready outputs, and ensure our standards of excellence are upheld across every phase of delivery.
You will report to the Principal, Kalypso and can work in a remote environment from any location in the United States.
Your Responsibilities :
- Manage workstreams or full projects with accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and results.
- Develop project plans, monitor progress, and course-correct to ensure value delivery.
- Serve as a client point of contact, translating business needs into actionable insights and solutions.
- Guide and mentor Consultants and Analysts, providing structured feedback and supporting professional growth.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to build capabilities and support organizational development initiatives.
- Contribute to proposal development, solution design, and sales pursuits.
- Identify new opportunities to expand work within existing client accounts.
The Essentials - You Will Have :
Bachelor's Degree in Relevant FieldLegal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.The ability to travel as needed, potentially up to 50% of the time.The Preferred - You Might Also Have :
8+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience.3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on automation and controls.Proven expertise in process control systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.Deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) frameworks.Hands-on experience with asset management and predictive / preventive maintenance strategies.Strong knowledge of OT data management, including data historians, edge computing, and integration with IT systems.Demonstrated ability to lead or support automation projects from concept through commissioning.Familiarity with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards for manufacturing systems integration.Experience working in regulated or high-compliance environments (e.g., food & beverage, pharma, mining, or heavy industry).What We Offer :
