Construction Estimator

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a seasoned and motivated Industrial Project Estimator to join our Mechanicsburg, PA office and play a pivotal role in our ongoing success.

Position Overview : As the Industrial Project Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process primarily for our industrial projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids that align with our company's growth objectives. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive estimates that support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Client Interaction

Meet owners and design teams to discuss and explain our construction proposals.

Overseeing the gathering of financial information and prequalification forms of new subcontractors.

Oversee the preparation of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor bids, and other relevant factors.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to perform cost analysis and value engineering exercises to identify potential cost efficiencies without compromising project quality.

Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and availability of resources.

Review and validate estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Stay informed about industry trends, market fluctuations, and pricing changes that could impact project estimates.

Qualifications :

Schedule (P6, Microsoft Project)

Highly proficient

Has a better than working knowledge of all construction CSI divisions

Has worked on projects ranging between 1MM-75MM+

Experience with Design-Build type projects is preferred
