The Montgomery County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for part-time (up to four hours per day) speech / language pathologist positions that are available within our division for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

• Hold a master's degree in Speech / Language, Speech Pathology, or Communication Disorder
• Hold or be eligible for an active license with a valid endorsement in speech language pathology issued by the Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
• Possess a professional understanding of speech / language disorders
• Possess thorough knowledge and ability to administer appropriate speech / language tests and support materials
• Demonstrate ability to support students by cooperatively working with parents / guardians and teachers
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students
• Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

FLSA : Exempt

SALARY : $43.33 - $60.25 per hour; commensurate with experience
