Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Adjunct Faculty 2025-2026

Position Summary

The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar's Office schedule of classes at https : / / www.du.edu / registrar / course / scheduleofclasses.html. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.

Essential Functions

Course Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities (all duties listed may not apply to all courses) :

• Teach in person in a workshop format on Saturdays or online once a week (depending on course);
• Support the teaching or courses in the Certificate, Master's, or doctoral degree program;
• Collaborate with ELPS faculty to prepare course content;
• Maintain course Canvas container;
• Meet with students as needed;
• Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate;
• Grade in a timely manner;
• Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed.
• Coordinate student internship experience and meet with internship mentor and student once per quarter;
• Attend doctoral working groups as requested.

Work Schedule

The University of Denver's regular operating hours are 8-4 : 30 PM. Actual schedule will depends on course(s).

Course Rate

$1,265 per credit hour taught

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, available market information, and course enrollment but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
