Role Description

This is a part-time or full-time on-site role located in Hingham, MA, for a Certified Medical Assistant. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. Day-to-day tasks will include taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed by the provider. Additional duties include clinical tasks, such as drawing blood and administering injections, as well as administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Qualifications

• Medical Assisting skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience working in a Medical Office environment
• Patient Care abilities
• Proficiency in managing Medical Records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Current CPR certification is an advantage
